DPM (Disruptive Pattern Material) camouflage was first developed in the early 1960s and has been used by both the British Army and other forces across the globe. The four-colour DPM clothing consists of black, dark brown, mid-green and a dark sand tone, so is ideal for staying concealed in jungle or forest environments. Although DPM uniform was replaced by MTP (Multi-Terrain Pattern) in 2009, it still continues to be used by cadet forces all over the UK.
